Lisa Joy, a Musicians Performance Coach and Dynamic Movement Expert, is a leading figure in musicians' health and wellness. She is the brain behind Active Potential. Working with performing artists, music industry professionals, and fans both in-person and online, Lisa Joy aims to relieve pain, enhance performance optimization, and prolong careers while boosting satisfaction levels. She helps her students identify sources of resistance and provides actionable solutions to eliminate physical and mental obstacles, stressors, and pain so they can perform at their peak.

A music aficionado herself with a passion for its healing qualities, Lisa Joy has dedicated herself to healing the healers by teaching musicians preventive measures against common injuries linked to instrument play and life on the road involving repetitive movements or asymmetry. Understanding the nuances of being an artist as well as an athlete, she takes a holistic approach when working with students to mold their minds and bodies as tools for success.

With years of experience working at festivals, concerts, studios as a licensed massage therapist, yoga instructor, meditation coach, and personal trainer, Lisa Joy transitioned online during the pandemic to provide resources necessary for musicians to thrive daily while home or on tour. She empowers her students to consistently perform excellently—not just on select days when healers are available but every day independently.
